This Privacy Policy explains how ProjectMe.ai ("Project Me," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you access or use our websites, applications, AI agents, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
Account information (name, email, login credentials)
Birth chart data (date, time, and location of birth) for yourself and any individuals you choose to add, such as family members, partners, friends, or business partners
Inputs, prompts, reflections, and content submitted through the Service
Support inquiries and communication
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
Device information (model, operating system, settings)
Browser type, IP address, referral links
Usage data (features accessed, session duration)
Log files and diagnostic data
1.3 Payment Information
If you subscribe through the Apple App Store, payment is processed by Apple. If you subscribe through our website, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details. We may receive transaction confirmation data such as subscription status, purchase date, and expiration date.
1.4 Third-Party Birth Chart Data
You may add birth chart data for other individuals (partners, children, family, friends, business partners) for the purpose of relationship compatibility insights and multi-chart analysis. By providing this data, you represent that you have obtained appropriate consent or have legal authority to share this information. Birth chart data is limited to date, time, and location of birth.
1.5 Not Intended for Sensitive Data
The Service is not designed to collect or store:
Protected Health Information (PHI)
Government-issued identifiers
Financial account numbers
Personally identifiable data about children under 13, except birth chart data (date, time, and location of birth) added by a parent or legal guardian for multi-chart analysis
Mental-health crisis content
If you provide such data beyond what is described above, you do so at your own risk.
2. How We Use Your Information

Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
Generate AI responses to your inputs
Generate relationship compatibility insights based on multi-chart data
Secure and administer accounts
Personalize content and features
Analyze usage to improve functionality
Communicate with you about updates or support issues
Comply with legal obligations
2.1 AI Training & Model Improvement
Depending on your settings and applicable law, your inputs may be used:
To improve AI model performance
To enhance user experience
To identify and prevent misuse or harmful activity
Where legally required, we will provide opt-out options.
3. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
Service Providers: hosting, analytics, AI vendors (including OpenAI), customer support
Payment Processors: Apple and Stripe, to process transactions
Legal Authorities: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety
Affiliates: for internal business purposes
We do not sell your personal information.
3.1 AI Service Providers
Your inputs and birth chart data may be sent to third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) to generate responses. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We select providers that maintain appropriate data security standards.
4. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to:
Provide the Service
Comply with legal requirements
Maintain security, auditing, and backup systems
Some anonymized data may persist indefinitely.
5. Data Deletion
You may request deletion of:
Your account
Your personal information
Birth chart data you have added for other individuals
Deleted data may persist in:
Backups
System logs
Aggregated or anonymized datasets

6. Data Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including industry-standard encryption and access controls. We regularly review our security practices to safeguard your data.
No system is perfectly secure. You provide information at your own risk.
7. International Users
If you are accessing the Service outside the United States, you understand your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Parents and legal guardians may add birth chart data (date, time, and location of birth) for their children for the purpose of multi-chart analysis and relationship compatibility insights. This data is limited to birth information only and is stored under the parent or guardian’s account.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate personal information
Request deletion of your personal information
Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
Request portability of your data
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

9.1 California Residents
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
9.2 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, our legal basis for processing your personal information depends on the specific context, including performance of a contract, legitimate interests, and consent. You may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Apple Store
If you access the Service through the Apple App Store, Apple may collect certain data as described in Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not control Apple’s data collection practices.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be reflected by the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
