The three sequences
The Activation Sequence is the core of the profile. Its four spheres, Life's Work, Evolution, Radiance and Purpose, come from the same four positions that form a Human Design Incarnation Cross: the Sun and Earth at birth, and the Sun and Earth about three months before.
The Venus Sequence looks at relationships and the emotional patterns you learned early, through Attraction, IQ, EQ, SQ and Core. The Pearl Sequence looks at work and prosperity, through Vocation, Culture, Brand and Pearl. Brand shares its key with Life's Work, and Vocation shares its key with Core.
Reading a key
Every Gene Key is a spectrum. The Shadow is the reactive pattern that shows up under stress. The Gift is the same energy once you recognize it and work with it. The Siddhi is its fullest expression. The number after the dot is the line, which adds a particular flavor to the key.

Your birth time and your privacy
Most spheres change slowly, but the Attraction sphere comes from the Moon, which moves through a key in less than half a day. An accurate birth time matters most there. If you do not know it, tick the box and the calculator uses noon.
The profile is calculated on your own device. Your birth details never leave it, and we keep no copy.

Is this Gene Keys profile free?
Yes. All 11 spheres of the Activation, Venus and Pearl sequences are free, with no account needed.
How is a Gene Keys profile calculated?
It uses the positions of the Sun, Earth, Moon, Venus, Mars and Jupiter at your birth and about three months before, the same data as a Human Design chart. Each position falls in one of the 64 Gene Keys and one of six lines.
Is this the same as my Human Design chart?
It comes from the same calculation. Human Design reads those positions as gates, centers and channels, and the Gene Keys read them as a path from Shadow to Gift to Siddhi. You can see both from the same birth details with our free Human Design chart.
